InTimid Acceptable Use Policy

Effective August 13, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is incorporated by reference into and forms part of the InTimid Terms of Service. It sets out who may use InTimid, what is not allowed, how we respond to violations, and how to report a concern. By using InTimid's Services, you agree to this AUP.

1. Who May Use InTimid

• You must be at least 18 years old. InTimid does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account, and any account discovered to belong to a minor will be terminated immediately.
• You must be legally able to enter a binding contract with InTimid.
• You must not be registered, or required to be registered, on any sex offender registry.
• You must not have been convicted of, or pled no contest to, a felony, a sex crime, or any crime involving violence or a threat of violence, except where clemency has been granted for a non-violent offense and InTimid has determined you do not pose a threat to other members.
• You must not be on any U.S. government restricted party list, including the Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals list.
• You must complete government-ID identity verification through our verification provider, Persona, before you can be matched with another member.

2. Zero Tolerance: Trafficking, Exploitation, and Abuse

InTimid has zero tolerance for the following, and will immediately and permanently terminate any account involved, preserve relevant records, and report to law enforcement where appropriate:

• Human trafficking, sex trafficking, or any facilitation, solicitation, or advertisement of trafficking.
• Sexual exploitation of any person, including commercial sexual solicitation, prostitution, or escort services.
• Any sexual content, imagery, or solicitation involving, or purporting to involve, a minor.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, or threats to share such imagery.
• Aiding, abetting, encouraging, or facilitating any of the above by any means, including through introductions, messages, or off-platform coordination.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, generate, or share content that:

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or intended for sexual gratification;
• Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• Is discriminatory, hateful, or promotes bigotry on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• Is defamatory, fraudulent, or knowingly false;
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity, age, or intentions;
• Includes another person's image or likeness without their consent;
• Solicits money, gifts, loans, or anything of value from another member;
• Contains malicious code, spam, or unsolicited commercial content.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not:

• Harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or bully any person, on or off the Services;
• Solicit personal identifying information, passwords, or financial information from other members for commercial or unlawful purposes;
• Attempt to contact, match with, or otherwise engage with a member who has not been proposed to you by kAI and who has not consented to the introduction;
• Use InTimid for money laundering, financial fraud, or any pyramid or similar scheme;
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to access or extract information from the Services;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with identity verification, safety features, or these Terms.

5. How InTimid Enforces This Policy

Enforcement is at InTimid's discretion and is calibrated to the severity of the conduct. Depending on the circumstances, InTimid may take one or more of the following actions:

• Removal of the content in question;
• A warning to the member;
• Temporary suspension of matching or messaging privileges;
• Permanent termination of the account, without refund;
• Referral to law enforcement, where InTimid believes the conduct may be criminal.

Violations of Section 2 above (trafficking, exploitation, abuse involving minors) result in immediate permanent termination and are not subject to warning or appeal.

6. Reporting a Concern

If you experience or witness conduct that violates this policy, please contact us immediately at support@intimid.net. Include your account information and as much detail as you can provide. We review all reports and will take appropriate action, which may include contacting law enforcement.

If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services (911 in the United States) before contacting InTimid.

7. Appeals

If your account has been suspended or terminated and you believe this was made in error, you may request review by emailing support@intimid.net within 30 days of the action. This appeals process does not apply to terminations under Section 2.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or applicable law. Continued use of InTimid after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
