InTimid Law Enforcement Guidelines

This page explains how InTimid, Inc. responds to requests from law enforcement and government agencies, and how to submit a request.

1. Our Approach

InTimid cooperates with law enforcement agencies investigating illegal activity, including trafficking, exploitation, fraud, and threats to member safety. We disclose member information only as required or permitted by law, including in response to valid legal process, or where we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to prevent death, serious physical harm, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of InTimid, our members, or the public.

2. What Information We May Hold

Depending on the account, InTimid may hold: account registration information, government-ID verification records processed through our identity verification provider Persona, intake conversation records with our AI matchmaking agent kAI, match and introduction history, in-app messaging records between consented, matched members, device and usage logs, and payment records processed through our payment provider Stripe. Not all data types are retained for all accounts. Full detail on what we collect and how long we retain it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

3. Legal Process We Require

• Subpoena — for basic subscriber information (name, email, phone number, account creation date).
• Court order or search warrant — for message content, intake conversation records, and stored files, consistent with applicable law (including the Stored Communications Act, where applicable).
• Emergency requests — where a request involves imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to a member or another person, we may voluntarily disclose information reasonably necessary to prevent that harm, without legal process, at our sole discretion.

4. How to Submit a Request

Law enforcement and government agencies may submit requests, along with the applicable legal process, to legal@intimid.net. Please include:

• The requesting agency, officer name, and badge or case number;
• The account identifier (email address, phone number, or username) or other information sufficient to identify the account;
• The specific information sought and the time period covered;
• A return address, email, and phone number for our response.

Requests from outside the United States will be evaluated under applicable international frameworks, including via mutual legal assistance treaty (MLAT) processes where applicable.

5. Member Notice

Except where prohibited by law or a court order, or where we determine that notice would risk harm to a member or interfere with an investigation, InTimid's policy is to notify the affected member of a legal request for their information before disclosure.

6. Preservation Requests

Law enforcement may request that InTimid preserve account records pending the issuance of formal legal process. Preservation requests should be sent to legal@intimid.net and will generally be honored for 90 days, renewable upon request as permitted by law.

7. Emergency Safety Concerns

If you believe a member is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services first. InTimid can be reached for urgent safety matters at support@intimid.net.
